Acquiring the Source Code

You may acquire the limited open source code, from the Downloads, or the Source Code link on the top.
OPTION 1
Click on Downloads. Look for "Developer Preview Source Code" and click it. Wait for a few seconds, and your download will begin automatically. ;)
OPTION 2
Click on Source Code. Look for "Developer Preview Source Code" and click it. Wait for a few seconds, and your download will begin automatically.
Note: The downloaded file is a .7z archive. You need to extract it to a folder.

Getting Started

After you've downloaded the Source Code, you need to extract it, if you haven't already done so. Please note that this source code lacks resources as the resources used in the app have been acquired from closed source 3rd parties.
After you've extracted the source code, you'll see a file named "DEV_PREV.sln" along with some other files and a folder. You need to double click this Solution file to open it in a Visual Studio 2012 Release Candidate installation.

Developing using this code

You'll see errors when you open any form because it lacks resource files. You'll have to use your own. However, you may ignore the warnings and continue without causing any damage. Then, develop the app, as you like.

Publishing your code

Since the source code for this app lacks resources, you'll unfortunately have to use your own resources. Without them, you can't build the app. If you have provided your own resources you may build the app in the same way you build other apps. You may remove and add what you like, but in the About box, you must include a link to the CodePlex project page. You may publish the code as you like, but you must not keep your code closed. All derivatives of this code must be open source.

N.B. This information is preliminary and is subject to change.
